Egg Colors

Our Olive Eggers are the result of a meticulously developed 20-year Olive program. These large, fluffy hens are not only a sight to admire but also yield a remarkable range of egg colors. We have paired our Olive Eggers primarily with Black Copper Marans, along with an Olive Egger rooster and a heavy Bloom rooster. As a result, you can anticipate a stunning variety of green egg shades, complemented by rich, deep blooms in the eggs they produce.

Easter Eggers are a colorful and friendly breed known for laying eggs in shades of blue, green, brown and even pink. A mix of breeds like Araucana, Ameraucana, and Marans, they bring charm and variety to any flock with their striking feathers and vibrant eggs. These social, hardy birds are a popular choice for backyard flocks.

Speckled Sussex chickens are known for their curious and social nature. A dual-purpose breed, they lay light pink eggs and are highly engaged, enjoying the company of people. Often described as the “dog” of the chicken world, they thrive on interaction and can frequently be seen following you around. Along with their charming personalities, Speckled Sussex chickens are also strikingly beautiful. Their friendly disposition and stunning appearance make them a perfect addition to any flock.

We are excited to announce that we are in the process of developing our own exclusive lines of Black Copper Marans. After three years of meticulous breeding and selection, we anticipate making these exceptional birds available to the public by the end of 2025. Our carefully cultivated strain promises to offer rare, high-quality Black Copper Marans with superior traits. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the release.

We are thrilled to announce the official introduction of our Satin Frizzle Easter Egger program! These friendly birds are a stunning addition, with their unique satin frizzle feathers and beautiful blue-green egg production. They are full size Easter eggers that lay full size eggs. Our Satin Frizzle Easter Eggers are extremely limited, making them truly a special addition to any flock. 

Silkies are a fantastic choice for backyard flocks, known for their sweet nature and big personalities. These charming little birds are exceptional layers, producing eggs both in the heat of summer and the cold of winter, unlike larger breeds that often take breaks during these times. Their friendly disposition and hardy laying habits make them a beloved addition to any flock. Our Silkies come in a variety of colors, including chocolate, mauve, blue, black, white, splash, paint and chocolate paint. We do get the occasional buff and partridge. We have a wide selection of feather types to choose from including regular, satin, frizzle, satin frizzle, and modified frizzle.
